Steve T. Buttorff graduated, Cum Laude, from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2007 and was admitted as a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in November of 2007. Attorney Buttorff began his career in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he worked as Special Assistant for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office and provided services to private clients in various areas of the law.

In 2009, Attorney Buttorff moved back to his home town, and opened a private practice in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to his private practice, Steve is contracted by the Union County Public Defender’s Office where he represents individuals facing criminal charges alleged to have occurred in Union County. Attorney Buttorff also serves as secretary of the Union-Snyder County Bar Association.

Steve is involved in the local community as well.  He serves as Chairman of the Hartley Township Planning Commission and as President of the Mifflinburg Heritage and Revitalization Association (MHRA). Since 2011, Steve has also managed various youth baseball teams in Mifflinburg or the West End and he currently assists in coaching his daughter’s t-ball team.

Steve is a member of the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren where Steve provides support to others in his role as a Stephen’s Minister©.
Steve’s other interests include hunting, camping, sports, gardening, and spending plenty of time with his wife, Heather, daughter, Sophia and son, Isaac.
